This major UK and international law firm have an excellent opportunity for a further mid- to senior-level Associate to join their busy and thriving Transactional Construction practice in Abu Dhabi. The role provides the opportunity to work on variety of large and complex construction transactions, spanning a full range of major Energy, Infrastructure and Real Estate projects, both within the UAE and throughout the wider GCC region. Day to day scope of the role will therefore include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of construction contracts and related documentation, including building contracts (particularly in FIDIC standard forms), consultancy agreements, and ancillary security arrangements, as well as FEED, EPC, EPCM, design, construction and O&M / LTSA agreements. While part of a strong team, and with the benefit of supervision and training by experienced Gulf lawyers, you can also expect plenty of responsibility and will be actively participating in meetings with major clients and assisting their legal and project teams in their negotiations from the outset.
