Join our dedicated team at our special education center as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ABA principles, focusing on individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. As an ABA Therapist, you\'ll play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate positive behavior changes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Implement ABA principles to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors, social skills, and communication skills.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans.
- Collect and analyze behavior data regularly to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members for consistent implementation of intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and relevant documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions for ongoing professional development.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for individuals undergoing ABA therapy.
- Preferred certifications: RBT, ABAT, or IBO.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ABA Therapist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and effective application in various settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual client needs and progress.
