Job Description

  • Implement behavior interventions and teaching strategies to promote skill development.
  • Collect data during therapy sessions to track progress and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Analyze collected data to make data-driven decisions and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate efforts and ensure consistency in intervention implementation.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by relevant regulatory bodies or organizations.
  • Maintain confidentiality, prioritize client welfare, and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Build rapport and establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Implement behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
  • Teach adaptive skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-help, and academic skills.
  • Utilize visual supports, prompting systems, and reinforcement strategies to facilitate learning and skill acquisition.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes and functions of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address and reduce challenging behaviors based on the functional behavior assessment.
  • Monitor and address the generalization and maintenance of skills across different settings and situations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Attend meetings and participate in case conferences with other professionals to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, session notes, and other relevant documentation.
  • Stay informed about and follow relevant legal and ethical guidelines, including mandated reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Seek supervision and consultation from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other qualified professionals as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of ABA.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience:
  • ABA: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • RBT/IBT Certification (Preferred)
