• Implement one-on-one behavior therapy sessions with clients, following individualized treatment plans.
• Use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, prompting, and task analysis to teach and reinforce new skills.
• Address challenging behaviors through intervention strategies, ensuring a supportive and structured environment.
• Accurately record data on client behavior, responses, and progress during each session.
• Maintain organized records and submit data to the Rehabilitation Head.
• Work closely with the Rehabilitation Head to discuss client progress, challenges, and potential modifications to treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers, providing updates on client progress and strategies to support learning and behavior outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA techniques and behavior therapy.
• Stay informed about best practices in ABA and relevant fields to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards in ABA practice, maintaining client confidentiality and promoting a safe and respectful therapy environment.
• Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis, Discrete Trial Therapy, Natural Environment Teaching and other related therapies to clients as per assigned cases.
• Implement Behavioral intervention protocols as instructed by the Case Supervisor in the intervention plan.
• Implement social skills training to clients (individually or in groups) when needed
• Implement Measurement Procedures as applicable, collect data, document data, graph data and analyze child's progress through tracking data on electronic device
• Assist with assessment procedures.
• Describe behavior in observable and measurable terms.
• Entering session/ clinical notes in a timely manner.
• Identify essential components of a written behavior reduction plan, ABC Contingency, Functions of Behavior, and implement Behavior Intervention Plans as instructed
• Assist the child in different settings including (self-care, toileting, feeding, grooming etc.)
• Effectively communicate with team members, provide handover information precisely and in a timely manner
• Achieve mandatory Continued Professional Development CPD points that are required.
• Support client assessment needs (as necessary)
Qualifications
• Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)
• Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is (highly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ABA therapist, ideally with children with ASD or related developmental disorders (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and ethical guideline (Mandatory)
• Female Arabic (Preferred)
