We are in search of a skilled 3D Modeling Draftsman who possesses proficiency in 3D design software, including 3D Max, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D modeling, architectural with an aptitude for and mechanical design. Additionally, an interest in or prior knowledge of 3D printing technology, CNC, and/or laser cutting experience is highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: 3D Modeling: Utilize 3D Max, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD to generate precise and intricate 3D models of architectural and mechanical designs. 3D Printing:
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in 3D printing technology and integrate this knowledge into the design process.
- Utilize 3D printing technology to produce accurate and high-quality prototypes and parts.
- Identify and resolve issues with 3D printers to maintain smooth operations.
- Post-processing tasks such as cleaning, sanding, and assembling 3D printed components as required. CNC and/or Laser Cutting: to have experience in CNC machining and/or laser cutting techniques to enhance the production of physical prototypes and models. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of 3D models, design modifications, and printing parameters.
Handle administrative tasks, inventory management, and communication related to 3D printing projects Problem Solving: Identify design challenges and offer innovative solutions to optimize the 3D printing process and CNC/laser cutting operations.
