Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various 3D printers, including SLA, FDM, and CNC machines.

Conduct regular tests on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the 3D printing process.

Ensure the 3D printer and associated equipment are clean and well-maintained.Qualifications:

Create 3D models using CAD software and Blender Software and prepare files for printing.

Generate G-code for 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutting machines.

Produce high-quality 3D prints based on client specifications.

Inspect printed objects for quality control and accuracy.

Conduct quality control checks on 3D printed objects to ensure precision and functionality.

Revisit the printing process and make adjustments to improve results.

Test and modify files to address print issues.

Work with clients or internal teams to understand 3D printing needs and project requirements.

Advise clients on the best materials and methods for their specific projects.

Provide regular updates to clients on production progress.

Assist in the R&D of new 3D printing techniques and materials.

Explore innovative manufacturing solutions and reverse engineering processes.

Stay up-to-date on emerging 3D printing technologies.

Train others on the use of 3D printing technology and equipment.

Document all print jobs, design changes, and maintenance work for future reference.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in art or computer graphics and a relevant portfolio.

Proven experience as a 3D Printing Designer or similar role

Proficient in 3D modeling software, such as AutoCAD and Blender Software

Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and materials

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients

Ability to perform quality control, adjustments, and final checks for accuracy and quality of 3D printed parts

Technical diploma or certificate in 3D Printing, Engineering, or related field is preferred
