IMI was founded in 1999 primarily as a management development company with four different business divisions, namely marketing research, training, recruitment, and consulting. IMI includes various sub-segments under its training division. The training division encompasses three core activities, namely: corporate training (with companies being its main target), programs (with individuals being its main target) and key accounts (which serves accounts with special features such as governmental entities and donor organizations). Moreover, IMI has a recruitment division (serving both companies and individuals) which is growing and a consulting division for which internal capacity is being built.
